“Handling Invasive Plant Species in North Georgia”: Bo will talk on managing invasive species in the Georgia Piedmont, many of which are common in our backyards, with a focus on environmental dangers, identification, and removal techniques. I will also include details about the summer conservation program that I help run with the Athens Land Trust (Young Conservation Stewards, or YCS), which focuses on eliminating harmful invasives from our area parks and reintroducing beneficial natives.
