2025 Georgia Cities Week: Postcard Design Contest – City of Gainesville
March 1 - April 1
In celebration of 2025 #GeorgiaCitiesWeek April 20-26, sponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association, the City of Gainesville is starting the fun early by opening its inaugural Georgia Cities Week Postcard Design Contest to children and teens ages 5-17. The winning design, which should represent Gainesville, will be used as an official City of Gainesville postcard distributed to the public at City events and via the Gainesville Welcome Center.
The design – whether hand-drawn, painted, created digitally, etc. – should depict your favorite places and/or things in/about Gainesville, Georgia. Think destinations you’d be proud to take a visitor to see or unique things you’d like for them to experience. What places and/or things bring you joy that are unique to this community?
The contest is FREE to enter and, in addition to having their art “travel” around the world, the first-place winner will also receive a $30 voucher to Kilwins Gainesville and a certificate of achievement!
Entries may be dropped off in person any time from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Gainesville Welcome Center in suite 100 of the Gainesville Administration Building, located at 300 Henry Ward Way, Gainesville; mailed to the Gainesville Public Relations Department, attn: Public Relations Director Christina Santee-Moss, P.O.
