THAT’S RIGHT!! FIND FREE ART YOU CAN KEEP- ALL OVER DOWNTOWN GAINESVILLE and throughout the walkways of BRENAU UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES!
Discover and Participate in the Free Art Friday Movement

Brenau University Galleries is inviting members of the public to join in on brightening someone’s day by dropping off small artworks (under 12 inches) to Sellars Gallery located at Simmons Visual Arts Center, Brenau University to be placed throughout the walkways, sidewalks, benches, ledges, etc…. for anyone to find.

The artwork found is FREE and those who find the work can take it home, give it to someone or leave it for the next person to keep. There are no strings attached. We do ask that, in return, those finding the art will tag Brenau Galleries in their stories or share an image or two of them finding the work… or of the work in its new home.

Those who find the work may also bring in the attached card to Sellars Gallery, Simmons Visual art Center (200 Boulevard) for a free hot coffee, hot tea or cocoa, pastry and a tour of the exhibits on view at Sellars, Presidents and Leo Castelli Gallery.

All Artists from anywhere in the State, or nation for that matter are welcome to mail art or drop off art for our Free Art Fridays happening every Friday for the month of October and the last Friday of the month up until April, when we have our ART HUNT (Think Easter Egg Hunt) on Brenau University’s Front Lawn!

Anyone can participate…artwork must be original art and under 12 inches.
