Imagining the Divine: An Evening of Poetry and Creativity
In times of stress and uncertainty, how are we invited to see the world through fresh eyes? What images and words can we explore that can help us imagine a world that nurtures compassion and peace? With the challenges we face, the arts offer us a creative space to explore and embody what it means to be human in community. Creativity is a human birthright, and it can offer healing and wholeness. Poetry, as a means of human expression, gives us permission to step into new, imaginative ways of embodying vision and hope through language and rhythm.

Come share an evening of poetry and reflection as we practice being human together. Our time together will include a poetry reading, a time of reflection and even an experimental time to create a poem together from our collective experience.
Copies of Bones of Light will be for sale, and proceeds will go toward ongoing conversations with The Center for Prayer and Spiritual Practice at Grace Episcopal Church and the Quinlan Visual Arts Center.
