Using mediums, colors, and textures, consider the following:
What impact has faith and spirituality had on your mental health?
How has your faith community addressed mental health?
How has the intersectionality of my various identities (gender, sexuality, age, class, race, citizenship, language, neuro-diversity, ability, and various other identity markers) shaped my experience within my faith community and the mental health system?
Mental health and faith are complex, invisible, and individually & collectively impactful. Let’s build our own grassroots movement to help engage our different faith communities, mental health providers, community members, and other community partners in building sustainable coalitions in support of people living with mental health conditions. We are all agents of change guiding our collective understanding, response, and vision as we shape our shared future.
